Effect of catalyst on tail gas during reduction of vanadium-titanium magnetite carbon-containing pellet

Catalyst can enhance the reduction effect and promote of vanadium titanomagnetite. In this paper, carbon-containing pellets titanomagnetite were prepared by using highly volatile coal as reducing agent under background a novel process pre-reduction in rotary kiln. The effects CaO, CaCO 3 , B 2 O borax (Na 4 7 ·10H O) on tail gas characteristics prereduction studied simulated kiln flue analyzer. results showed that enhanced boron catalysts was slightly stronger than calcium catalysts, among which CaO catalyzed least best. With increase metallization rate, CO utilization is generally reduced, while when catalyst, significantly increased. Due to different mechanism, have little gas, great gas. Based experimental from process, we put forward idea best catalyst absorb form .
